What we are is a group of people living in and around Melbourne, Florida, brought together in our belief that there is one infinitely powerful and perfect God who makes Himself known to men in three separate and distinctive parts; God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. He created all things that we can know, and all things that we are too finite to know. We further believe that Jesus Christ is the Son, part of this triune God. He made Himself fully man and yet, was fully God when He came to the earth by being born to a virgin. He lived a sinless life and suffered a torturous death on a cross to pay the final price for our separation from Him. We believe He came to life again and proved His resurrection by showing Himself alive to His apostles and followers. He then went into heaven to take His place with God the Father.

We respond to His complete and total love for us by declaring ourselves His followers, disciples of His teaching and listeners for His Holy Spirit, expecting changes to our lives and recognizing that all the power and glory belongs to Him, the Living God. We choose to follow His will as revealed in His written word, the bible and as revealed by his Holy Spirit, the third part of this Triune God. We are united with other believers in Christ that he has forgiven our sin, paid the price for it and has prepared a place for us to live with Him for all eternity.

We believe that He has given us a Great Commandment, found in the book of Matthew, Chapter 22, verses 36 to 40.

“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law? And He said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it. You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.”

We also believe that He has given us a Great Commission, found in the book of Matthew, Chapter 28, verses 18 to 20.

“And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’”
